--Quilter's Lame'
Add a little sparkle to your next project. This lame' fabric designed for quilters is 52% cotton/48% nylon. It has a beautiful metallic sheen. The directions on the bolt say to machine wash warm and line dry. We always recommend following the manufacturer's directions just to be safe but one of our staff members says that she puts hers in the dryer on delicate and it comes out just fine. She also reports that this lame' is easy to use since it doesn't ravel as easily as the slinky lame'. The lovely iridescent shine doesn't show up in these scanned photos but these fabrics all have it. You might want to back the lame' with a fusible knit interfacing to discourage fraying. |
